BOR-Authorized Charter Schools
Board of Regents-authorized charter schools are provided autonomy to innovate and achieve strong academic and developmental outcomes for students while being held accountable to the rigorous standards set forth in the 91ÉçÇø Charter School Performance Framework, monitoring agreement, the school’s charter, authorizer approved policies and procedures, and the Education Law, among other requirements. The 91ÉçÇø Charter School Office works closely with Board of Regents-authorized charter schools on transparent monitoring and oversight with the aim of fostering high quality public education options for all students, families, and communities. Board of Regents-authorized charter schools are encouraged to actively partner with the school’s 91ÉçÇø Charter School Office liaison to help address any questions.
