DESCRIPTION:
This Program is available to schools that do not participate in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs and for children in half-day pre-kindergarten and half-day kindergarten classes that are in schools with the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, but who do not have access to the programs.Ìý The federal subsidy, per 8 ounces of milk, keeps milk costs lower to families and helps farmers by encouraging the consumption of milk.
