DESCRIPTION:
Section 225 of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) provides funds to assist incarcerated and institutionalized individuals to meet the performance goals of WIA.Ìý Much of the effort goes to helping these individuals transition back into society so as to reduce recidivism.Ìý The Programs are available in all county and municipal jails and correction centers.
